Swissôtel Wellness Resort Alatau Almaty

The facilities were fabulous. The spa was fabulous. We had a treatment each (body massage) which was highly recommended. Pool, sauna, steam room and other spa facilities clean and very pleasant. Had a meal in the Asian food restaurant serving traditional Kazakh food. Pleasant outdoor areas including woodland, golf course and lake area to walk around and enjoy. I would like to say we had excellent customer service from everyone we came on contact with. I would like to say in particular we had amazing service from Merey in the Moxi Bar. She was absolutely delightful and she couldn’t do enough for us both times we visited for lunch.

If you are looking for a wellness retreat away from the city vibes, then this is your place. We stayed there for two nights at the end of our trip to Almaty, and after being tired of day trips, so the hotel was ideal to rest and treat ourselves. The room was renovated and clean, and has a balcony that overlooks the forest. Try to get a room in higher floors for a better view. The breakfast buffet is very good, with plenty of options for all tastes. The spa experience is not to be missed: (best Jacuzzi pools I've ever been to). The hotel location is relatively far from the city center, so keep in mind that commuting will take time, but it's not difficult as transportation options are convenient. Mega Mall is almost 20 minutes away from the hotel (depending on traffic). I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a peaceful/wellness stay. We loved Astau restaurant (east Asian food) for dinner. The staff was very helpful (shout out to Gulzabida and Damir for the lovely buggy tour around the hotel).

The atmosphere of the Hotel amongst the Forest and the Golf course without the noise of the city. It was a calming, soothing and serene experience and the set up of the hotel with mineral water flowing underneath and the amazing Purovel spa and the sumptuous food and service served at all the restaurants.

We always come for 1 night but due to its nature and location we decide to stay for 2 . Best place for meditation and family building. We love this place more and more due to several points but point 6 is the main reason why we do come here because we love to sleep well : ) 1) SPA and Pool area are always clean and warm 2) Main Restaurant menu is delicious. 3) room service is flexible 4) rooms are cleaned on time by very kind housekeeping 5) Managers are very helpful and supportive 6) bed and pillows are always fresh, huge and soft
